Hi,
I'm sorry I was going to send a note but time just past
so
quickly.
We
had a very quick ride home, he did very well and seems to have adjusted
very
well, he's eating and drinking and slept all night, he even hasn't
gone
in the house yet!!!!!
Thank
you so much for the goodies, the food and the blanket, I think that
really
helped with his first night!
THank
you for letting us share him, I know it must be hard to let go after
all
the TLC.
Thank you
Ann and Tim and Chico
Hi Rita and Gary
Marco
is doing great. He is going potty outside almost every time. He
does
have a few accidents here and there but I think he is doing really
well
with it. He loves the kids and gets sad when we leave the room. He
is
sleeping in his crate all night and holding it, until we take him out
around
5:30 am. He takes short naps throughout the day. He is so sweet
and
playful. The only trouble we have is with the kids fighting over him!
We
are taking Marco to the vet tomorrow. We love him. Thanks for
breeding
such a great puppy!
We
will keep you updated on how he does.
Merry
Christmas!

Dear Gary and Rita-
Panda
and Coal are doing great! They slept all the way home in the crate
without
a peep and then had fun exploring their new home. They slept from
10 until 5 when Sam and I took them outside, then played until they
dropped
for a long morning nap. They have enjoyed our last dog’s bed in
the
kitchen where they can hang out while we cook.
Thanks
for raising such wonderful puppies. We will send a photo soon.

Hi Rita and Gary
Marco is doing so good! Just
wanted to give you an update and new picture. He is getting so big.
He weighed 8 lbs 4 ozs at his appointment
on Saturday. Almost a two pound gain in 3 weeks!
He is very healthy. He
does not like getting his shots but handles it like a trooper.
Marco is still so playful
and loves the snow. He is starting to follow some commands and he loves his crate.
He sleeps from 9pm to about 6am and doesn't cry and whine at all. He
even goes in the crate on his own
when he is tired. Potty
training is still going well, often he'll let us know when he has to go out.
Everybody just loves him! Hope
you all are well and keeping warm. Take care!

Dear Rita and Gary,
We just wanted to stop and say hello, and share some pictures
of
Toby with you, who is now 1 year old! He is quite the spoiled little
prince,
and has more toys than the kids next door! Enjoy!
Dear Rita and Gary,
Abby is doing great!!! Fluffy and her have bounded
very well. ( Much
quicker than we excepted.) We were very happy
that her first night went
very well also. She woke up around 12:30 am. so we let her outside and
she went potty and then placed her back in her crate and she went right to
sleep and did not wake up again until 6:30. We are amazed how well she is
doing with the potty pads. We realized that you
said you started training
her but we did not except her to do so well. She has not missed a beat.
(Faced the wrong direction one time but other
than that we cannot stop
talking about how pleased we are. ) Abby
is definetly a wonderful
addition to our family and Fluffy cannot thank us enough.
Thank you for everything,
Don and Kara
Gary & Rita -
Gracie is doing great! She slept in her crate all night without crying
last night. She will go for her first vet visit this afternoon. She's been
very spunky and playful since we've brought her home - and very funny.
I'll give you an update after the vet visit.

Hi Rita and Gary,
Lacy did great on the ride home. I
stopped once to let her go piddle and
she did so right away in the grass. She
just watched me the whole way
home and for a little while curled up and slept.
I held her (carried her
around and let her sleep in my lap)
at home from about 8:30 til bedtime
at 11 pm.
She only made one small whimper during the evening and I took
her right outside and she immediately pooped.
What a good girl!! Then for
sleeping we put her in the crate next to our bed where she could see me,
with half the crate with her blanket and toys and half with piddle pad.
She made no sounds at all during the night and when she woke up just
wagged her tail. I took her outside
immediately and she piddled right
away.
I left for about 45 minutes during the day today and put her in her crate
and she used the piddle pad only that one
time. Otherwise she's gone
immediately outside every time I took her out.
I carry her out, set her
on the grass, she does her thing and I carry her back inside.
She would only eat last night from my hand, not from the bowl, and not too
much. Today she's eating a little
better, but still prefers it from my
hand better than the bowl. She has
really bonded with me and when I put
her down she follows me, even runs after me around and around the center
island in the kitchen, wagging her tail.
She met my five and a half year old grandson today and he was very gentle
with her, which she liked, but she still runs to me if she hears a loud
noise or something scares her. Of
course, I love that! They just left
and she's sleeping very contentedly in my
lap now. She is a GREAT lap
dog! But I can also see signs of her
playfulness coming out as well. But
for now, I'm happy that she likes to be held and cuddled so much--I think
it's good for bonding.
Do you do anything special for her eyes?
The fur below them got very
goopy and watery. Then I noticed that
some clumps of hair kept touching
her eyeballs. I gently snipped them
back a bit and this afternoon the
eyes seem better, although the fur is still discolored. What can be done
to help that?
She is absolutely the most precious little thing and I love her so much.
Thank you for doing such a great job raising her.
She is very trusting
and sweet and cuddly.
I'll send you some photos in a day or two.

Rita,
He did remarkably well. He was very calm during the ride home. It took
him about an hour to acclimate to his new surroundings, but he ate and
then wanted to play for a couple hours before he went to bed. He
slept for about 6 hours before we got up for the morning.
He's eating
reularly and using the restroom every time we take him outsude. We are
just thrilled with him.

Rita & Gary –
I just want to give you an update on Gracie. I took her to my vet
yesterday afternoon. She received an excellent bill of health – and my vet
said it was the cutest puppy she’s seen in a very long time! She’s
also
doing very well at home, eating good, sleeping through the night, and she
seems to be really enjoying our family and her new surroundings.
Hi Rita and Gary,
Lacy is adjusting
very well. She's eating with an appetite now.
I
now realize that
she must have been a little depressed the first day
and a half causing
the lack of appetite and extreme cuddliness. I
know she must
have missed you guys and her mother and siblings. But
she has brightened
up a LOT and, although still very sweet and
loving, is showing
a willingness to prance around and play games.
It's so adorable--she
follows me everywhere.
My husband loves
her, my kids love her, my grandkids love her, and
most of all I
love her. She has also made a hit with the neighbors.
She is unfailingly
friendly to everyone. I've had four dogs before
her over the
course of my life, starting when I was about 8 years
old, and I have to
say that she is already my favorite!
We're working
on the potty training. Thank goodness you told me
about the 1 hour
thing with her very tiny bladder. My other dogs
were much bigger
and could last much longer. So if I take her out
regularly, she
always squats and pees immediately, or poops once a
day when she
needs to. Then she loves to run and tumble around in
the grass. But she always comes to me when it's time to go in and
I
call her name and start
moving towards the door.
I bought lots
of supplies, including the tear stain liquid you
mentioned, a
collar for her tags, a harness for when we start walks
outside, a brush,
comb, and nail clippers. The pet store was happy
to see me! I have her vet appointment scheduled for tomorrow at 1:30.
I've only heard
her bark about four times now, always when playing.
She's been sleeping
fine in her crate next to our bed. This morning
for the first
time she woke us, whining and crying at 5 am.
I got
up, took her
outside to pee, put her in front of her water and food
bowls for a snack
and then put her back in her crate. She still
whined. She just wanted more attention, I guess. So
we tried to
ignore her (ha
ha, like that was even possible!) and she stopped in
about 5 minutes
and went back to sleep until we got up. Now she
sometimes makes
those noises when I leave the room and she is unable
to follow me.
I'll try to get more
photos of her near the flowers outside tomorrow.
Did I mention that
I LOVE this little Lacy?!!
